Laura is a personal trainer at Countryfit Health & Fitness who is passionate about high quality, personalised training, as well as nutrition, health and wellbeing. 

She’s been a trainer for 14 years and has experience across most fitness/training modalities, and works with women of all ages, training experience and interests. 

She is a nurse and trainer, who loves supporting woman with their fitness endeavour, offering personalised programming and attention to detail as a skilled coach.

I’m Milissa Bateman, a dedicated Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer with over 5 years experience in the fitness industry. My passion lies in helping women in mid-life and beyond achieve their health and fitness goals. I understand the unique challenges that come with aging and I’m here to provide the support, motivation, and expertise needed to overcome them.

Fitness has always been a central part of my life, and I believe it’s never too late to start or improve. My mission is to empower women to feel strong, and confident at any age and I take pride in creating personalised strength and  fitness programs that cater to the specific needs and goals of each client, focusing on sustainable results and overall well-being.

I emphasize a holistic approach to fitness that includes strength, cardiovascular health, flexibility, and balance. My personal training programs and group fitness classes are designed to be adaptable, enjoyable, and effective, ensuring that each workout is a step towards a healthier, more vibrant life. I also prioritize education, helping my clients understand the importance of nutrition, rest, and mental health in their fitness journey.
